Claire Tinkler

Claire grew up in Essex and moved to London to train as a doctor, finding her spiritual home at the Good Shepherd Mission (GSM) in Bethnal Green. She spent over 30 years at GSM on mission, fellowshipping, worshipping, and growing, six of those serving as a trustee church leader. She works part-time as a Palliative Care Consultant with the NHS. Her particular passions include worship, prayer, and holistic health in leadership and the church. She's married to Richard, a chemical engineer, and together they bought a property in Suffolk in 2016 that they've developed into New Chapel Farm (NCF), a place of restoration for individuals in ministry, their families, and teams. David

James

National Director

David James is the National Director of Novo UK, husband to Joy, and father of two energetic children. Having grown up in the comfort of the Home Counties surrounding London, David began to wrestle with his faith in his 20s when he became involved with the ‘24-7 Prayer’ movement. From his work giving advice and guidance to vulnerable teenagers, David’s passion for prayer, mission, and justice led him to Novo and serving gang members in California. He now lives with his family in Tower Hamlets, helping activate disciples of Jesus and giving leadership to Novo UK’s teams throughout the UK. David longs to see the UK and Europe return to God.
