Why “activate”?

Britain is pervaded by spiritual hunger, but it’s a hunger that too often goes unmet because the nation lacks workers – disciples who understand their calling and are equipped to take the message of Jesus into their communities and make new disciples. We believe that by activating (introducing to Jesus, discipling, and sending out) workers who are committed to multiplication, we will contribute significantly to the emergence of God movements in the UK and beyond.

What makes us different?

We live in and around communities mostly unreached by the local church, using innovative, non-traditional strategies to introduce people to Jesus and see churches planted in these communities. We also help believers discover their God-given calling, and partner intentionally with the local church to equip and release those who are ready to take risks to reach their communities.

What does it look like on the ground?

We are all committed to making disciples of Jesus who multiply, but we do it in different ways depending on our team, project, location, and personal calling. For instance, InnerCHANGE teams work with people on the margins of society. Our God Movements Network partners with strategic churches and ministries to activate Christians with a heart to reach specific communities. We have members seeking to introduce Muslims to Jesus, members passionate about reaching students, and members looking to impact the next generation by bringing the gospel to mums and children. In all that we do, we seek to find new followers of Jesus, see repeated multiplication, and, with time, work ourselves out of a job.
